Design Thursday #72
A weekly recap of everything you need to know about tools, events, guidelines and design in general.
Mobbin Sites
Up until now, Mobbin had a large library of apps across iOS, Android, and Web, but now it's also adding websites. As in marketing websites. This allows you to find even more inspiration for your next project or just see what general best practices are across the web.

Vectorize with LottieFiles in Figma
The LottieFiles plugin got a new update featuring 2 new AI-powered features:
- Prompt to Vector will allow you to write a prompt and generate an SVG illustration right in Figma.
- Vectorize will transform your bitmap to a vector version. With AI, it will also group it in a logical way so you can easily edit the vectors afterwards.

Natural language support in Recraft
You can now enter more natural commands like "Remove this background" or "upscale this" in the prompt box in Recraft so you don't have to find the right tool. Just tell what you want to achieve, and Recraft will figure it out for you.

Clear Glass & Concentric Corners in Play
Play added support for more Glass features, both in the properties panel and expression editor. In the properties, you can now also select "clear" glass instead of the regular style. All other Glass properties are now also available in the expression editor, like "glassEffectEnabled" or "glassEffectTintColor". Using rounded corners is now also easier than ever with the new concentric corners; your corners of a child element will automatically adapt according to the parent’s corner radius.

Maze Observer Room
Maze now has a one-way window into the user interviews with the new feature Observer Room. This allows stakeholders who want to follow along to join without interrupting the interview.
Text gradients in Jitter
You can now apply gradients to text layers in Jitter. That's it, that's the update.

Bulk Figma import in FlutterFlow
FlutterFlow's Figma import has been improved to now allow you to import multiple frames at once to generate new pages or components. Just create a group in Figma and paste the link in the FlutterFlow AI generation panel.

Sketch Barcelona
Sketch released their second big update, including previous beta features: Glass, Concentric Corners, Progressive Blurs, and the new Apple UI Libraries for iOS 26 and macOS 26. It also comes with a bunch of improvements, changes, and bug fixes.
Framer updates
As always, Framer added quite some new features:
- Mentions in Comments: Working together with someone? Now you can mention them in comments so they get notified.
- Project Transfer: You can now transfer existing projects to other accounts, great when working together with a client and you want to handover the project when it's been completed.
- Clip: All layers will now have a new default Overflow value 'Clip'. This should fix smooth scrolling issues while still clipping your layers.
- Text Highlights: There are some new properties for Link Styles, Text Layers, and Text Styles that let you make links feel like buttons without having to wrap them in a Frame, Stack, or Component.
Figma AI and Draw
Figma Draw has 10 new scatter brushes that allow you to give your illustrations a shadow or stippling effect, making them feel even more authentically hand-drawn.
Figma’s AI features also got an upgrade, especially image editing. You can now remove the background or boost the resolution of up to 25 images at once. Edit image now also supports Gemini 2.0 Flash on top of GPT Image 1, allowing you to use different models to generate the image you imagined.

Webflow Tooltips & Optimize components with AI
You can now create custom Tooltips for component props to make it easier for other people to use your components. Sometimes the setup can be quite complex and not obvious at once how to use a specific property, so this can be quite helpful to give some extra info.
On top of that, there was also an update for Webflow Optimize that lets you create variants of a base component with AI. For example, a Contact component with a call-to-action can have multiple tag lines which can be tested with Optimize to see which one converts better.
