To start the year, we selected 6 plugins that help us work faster in Figma. From discovering styles and properties, more AI-powered tools and great FigJam based plugins.

Style finder

Get a quick overview of all color or text styles used in your Figma file. Quite helpful if you want to find old styles that are still being used and should be replaced with new styles.

Selection Variants

It's sometimes difficult to see which properties or variants are available for a component. Instead of clicking through menus, you can use the Selection Variants plugin to view all properties and variants for your currently selected component.

Writer

A plugin that will automatically write copy for you based on a few settings: content type, short explanation of the content, word count, tone and reading level. A great reason to never use lorem ipsum again.

Simple flow

One of the best FigJam features are the connector arrows, making it easy to link together any object. While there are multiple plugins that do this as well, Simple flow reuses the actual FigJam arrow element. This supports quick adjustments without having to run a plugin again.

Stamp counter

This plugin will count all stamps in your FigJam file or selection. Making this a fast and simple way to count votes, which can be used as an alternative to the built-in voting system which only works on stickies, shapes, images or text.

WebP Exporter

It's 2023 and Figma sadly still doesn't allow us to export to WebP. Wipe your tears because WebP Exporter makes it easy to export any selection to the compression optimized file format.
